My fiance took me to NYC this past weekend for my first time as a late birthday gift- after a day of sight seeing (Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and WTC SIte) we went back to our hotel in Times Square walked around and then went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. He surprised me with a carriage ride in a purple carriage (my favorite color) thru Central Park- a 40 minute ride then we took a cab to the Conservatory Garden where he proposed. It was amazing. We are planning to get married in late summer/early fall in 2013 since we have nothing saved for a wedding. We are going to be getting married in Central MA and are looking to do so as inexpensively as possible so if anyone has any suggestions I'm open to anything. We are lucky with the flowers because my mom is a florist and insists on doing our flowers! Phew!!!
