My Fiance' proposed to me last night. We're about to hit two years together, two years that have been full of ups and downs but I am more than thrilled to spend the rest of my life with this man. We were supposed to go out for dinner, it had been a very long week and it decided to rain. I was beyond upset when he called and said he wanted to cancel because the weather wasn't desirable. I called my dad complaining, little did I know he'd been calling him all day to figure out a back up plan in case the rain continued.
We went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and were supposed to have desert at the spaghetti factory and we were eating and he said, "Let's just get cheesecake here." He went to the restroom and came back and slid in the booth beside me. He started asking me questions like how long we'd been together and if it was a good two years and if I loved him. He tried to get me to scoot to the edge of the booth and I was refusing (I'm stubborn, sue me ahaha!). He finally pulled me over, stood up and pulled out a ring and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He said my head went in circles saying yes and I remember my response being, "Duh!" Haha! He sat back down and told me how his master plan was to take me on a cairrage ride, even in the rain, but he was eating dinner and realized it didn't matter where he asked me, just as long as he knew how much he loved me and I said yes!
So that is that! I'ma newbie, and excited to plan my wedding to the love of my life!
