We went to a Super Bowl party at a friend of ours, and we were told that the local news would be there to video a segment. I was told that our friend's cousin was in Iraq, and we were supposed to wave to her.
After the halftime show, my boyfriend shows up on the commercial....DURING the Super Bowl! He proposed right there, and it was recorded by the news! Of course I said, "YES!" All of our friends were there. cheering and clapping.
I then was informed that we won a contest, and my hearts on fire ring was FREE from Alter's Gem Jewelry, $1200 towards my wedding gown, free tans for me and my bridal party, jewelry, his tuxedo and free engagement pictures! My response and interview was then played that night during the news and the next day also.
Definitely my favorite sporting event ever!
