My best friend had a "Before I Turn 30..." bucket list and it included going to Disneyland. Knowing what a huge fan of the parks I am she insisted that my boyfriend and I both come with her and her mom on vacation. My boyfriend had never been to Disneyland, let alone on a plane, and it took a little convincing to get him to agree to go. We spent 3 fantastic days in the park and had the most fun filled vacation ever. On our last night in the park we got a spot in front of the castle and waited for the fireworks to begin. He and I stood there holding hands seeing all the pyrotechnics and listening to all the classic Disney tunes. Towards the end of the show he slipped his left hand into his pocket and guided my left hand towards his chest and put a ring on my finger while asking if I'd be his wife! My jaw dropped in shock and I said yes with the biggest smile ever
Within moments his family was calling the both of us to "see how we were doing" because they were in on the plan the whole time and his mom started screaming in the background "We're going to have a wedding!" as I spoke to his older sister. Apparently, he'd been planning this proposal ever since we'd been planning our vacation!
