My brooch bouquet.

I absolutely hated how it came out so I'm scrapping it.  I'm sad that I wasted time and money but hey, I would have been more upset if I never tried.  (That's what I'm supposed to say, right? haha)

I'm not sure if I want all-white, or incorporate some fuchsia.  We're doing black and white with fuchsia accents for our colors.

I love love love peonies, dahlies, and gerber daisies. 

I don't even know what my girls will have yet, either.  My mom's friend is doing my bouquets so maybe I should have a sit-down with her to see what my options are!

I will be going pinterest crazy on my lunch hour here.

Sorry it didn't work out either.  But like Eline I'm not a big fan of them either.  Here's my bouquet.

And here's how it came out:


The top was so small and the ribbon didn't match the flowers right.  It looked like a microphone.  But an extremely heavy microphone.

Oh well... I'm still using the owl and band at the bottom on whatever bouquet I end up getting.

I probably could add more hydrangeas but it would entail way more work putting it back together than I'm willing to do!  It's also really heavy and I don't want to carry something that heavy all day.  I've been defeated by the brooches haha

I am obsessed with peonies but apparently it's super hard to get them in July. My florist said she'd try but the cost may be prohibitive. I'd also consider garden roses because they are big and full, kind of like peonies, but they're easily available in July. Oh and I have at least 40 bouquets on my pinterest "Flowers" board if you're looking for inspiration...lol

I saw that you were posting floral inspiration on pinterest, and I was a little confused! At least you finished the bouquet before deciding to change your mind!

My colors are fuschia, white and silver, and I am having a pink bouquet of hydrangeas, roses, dahlias, and mini daisies, and my bridesmaids are having white bouquets, of all roses and hydrangeas. So thats an option! If you want black in there too, calla lillies can come in a dark purple/black.
