We got engaged over 4th of July weekend. We went to fire Island with his family. His family was nice enough to set us in our own private cottage at friend of thiers. So later that night We took a walk at night by the beach and he proposed with waves crashing then he confessed in all the excitement he forgot the ring at home. Thisis like a typical thing with him because he can be very last minute so I didn't get too upset. I actually laughed and made fun of him at breakfast the next morningwith his family.It was worth the wait though he got a gorgeous blue diamond ring with baguettes on the side. It is awesome because my favorite color is blue and that he went non traditional, SO excited to plan and start a new chapter in our lives !!!
