i saw on another post that you got married and had your reception at the city club - i'm having my reception there next july. i read your married bio - that's great you had such a wonderful experience with the city club and hope that goes the same for me.Do you have any words of advice or any tips since I have the same reception site?Also, did you order your cake from one of the city club's bakers?  It was very beautiful! i'm also a damask fancongrats!

    My biggest advice is RELAX.  Micki is amazing and everything will go smoothly.  She acts as the coordinator and makes sure everything flows correctly.  We used Michael Angelo for our cake.  It is one of the cake vendors The City Club uses.  We paid a lot extra for our design though. What is your theme/colors?  Who did you pick for your other vendors?  I love that it's very much a blank neutral slate (with NON-UGLY carpeting) you can really do whatever you want in there without overpowering the place.
