My boyfriend just engaged Friday night!!! I'm so overwhelmingly happy and excited! We were playing Monopoly and I landed on Chance...when I picked up the card it said "Will you marry me".
With this, I have a few questions about how to proceed with questions from friends/family:
1 - I'm sure it's natural that people ask when you're planning on getting married. In our case, we are going to wait a few months before we decide. This is because I've been out of work for a while (I just started a new job last week) and we'd like to catch up on bills and accurately calculate how much we can save/afford. But I can't help but feel pressured to make a decision and at the same time politely tell people without going into the whole story
2 - I have been asked several times to post a picture of my ring on FB. What are all of your thoughts on this? Tacky? Normal? I don't want to come off the wrong way if I do post it and don't want to be rude to the people who are suggesting I do
