So we went to take the picture, he got down on one knee, and proposed. He said that he couldn't wait for us to spend the rest of our lives together after college in Colorado. Not only was it the most beautiful proposal spot, but the fact that my dad, aunt, and little sister was there meant the world to me! My mother passed away when I was three, so the fact that he proposed to me in the one state my mother ever said she was happy in also meant a lot.
