ceremony/reception sites in or around Akron area

I am starting to look around for a ceremony and reception site for my August wedding. I was thinking of having them both at the same place, maybe a hotel. The majority of our guest are going to be from out of town. I figured it would be convenient. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good hotels or other placed where we can have both at the same location. I am also looking at some place somewhat affordable.

Check out The Galaxy Restaurant in Wadsworth. They have nice ballrooms and good food and the hotel (Holiday Inn) is right next door. I would also check out Chenoweth Country Club. Their food is good and their banquet hall is nice and I think they have agreements with local hotels where they are able to shuttle guests.

I wanted to use the galaxy SO bad, but they were booked already. I was very sad. They have wonderful food and a lot of personality!

A friend of mine had her ceremony and reception at the Lodge at Geneva and loved it. Beautiful venue for both!I believe Tom's Country Place (in Avon?) has facilities for both ceremony and reception.

The Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls is beautiful, but a little pricey. You could check out the Hilton in Fairlawn or the Four Points Sheraton in Fairlawn. I went to a reception at the Akron City Centre Hotel (former Radisson) and it was really nice - I have no idea of the pricing though. I had my ceremony and reception at Springlake Party Center in Lakemore (I loved it!). There wasn't really a hotel super close, we had everyone stay in Montrose up on the hill, and made sure everyone had driving directions :)
