My boyfriend David isn't my boyfriend anymore, he's my fiance! I knew something was up the past few weeks, but I had no idea what it was that he was being weird about.
Honestly, there were some really weird phone calls he would leave the room to take, or have to call people back. I thought he was maybe cheating! hah hah... I guess I wasn't the first one to know he had planned on popping the question.
So cute, he asked my Dad's permission, and had been planning his proposal out with my best friends. I can't believe they didn't tell me.
The proposal was very sweet, he took me to Tru in Chicago, where he ordered a bottle of champagne (hello clue!) and before dessert, got down on one knee, took the ring box out of his pocket, handed it to me and proposed.
I wish I could remember what he said, I was beaming too hard to retain it!
Well it's official, we are getting married in June. So much to do, so much to celebrate. I'm almost Mrs. Hutton! Hurray!
