Hello everyone! Totally on cloud nine right now, just got engaged last night! We have been together for almost four years now and I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. He took me out for a Christmas date at the nicest restaurant in the city and then after the meal got down on one knee with a beautiful ring. The whole place started clapping and of course, I started crying. Right now we are planning on having a Fall 2011 wedding. This is so surreal! I'm really excited to start planning:D

    YAY! Congratulations!! I got engaged on Friday night (after a beautiful meal out on the town and then we came back home and he did it in front of the xmas tree.. so romantic I am STILL on cloud nine as well!)

    We are planning a fall 2011 wedding as well :)

    Look forward to chatting with everyone here and making friends as we go through this together!

    Congratulations! This seems to have been the week for proposals, huh?
    My (now) FI took me up to the mountain top where we had our first kiss and first started dating, and asked me to marry him. No down on one knee since he was behind me with his arms around me, but it was perfect for us. Couldn't have imagined it better :)

    Congratulations!  This definitely seems like a popular time for proposals!  I just got engaged on December 15th and still can't believe what is happening!  We have been together for 8 years this coming December 28th and I can't wait to see what the next 50 years is like!

    @Amy Elizabeth....I would suggest you create a new profile before you get too into the planning. You really shouldnt have your sn be your full name. Unfortunately there are some creepers just waiting to ruin plans. Just a safety precaution
