My boyfriend proposed to me last night!
Aram's (my boyfriend) brother in law asked me to come over after work today to help him with something. I was initially upset because I hadn't talked to Aram all day and was concerned something was wrong. I get to Aram's parents house and see a blue and orange balloon in the driveway. His brother in law texts me and tells me to get it and read it and then GO! So I get in the car and start driving. The first clue said : I jump started your hart here. A little while later we had our 1st date here. Now go the first place we laid eyes on each other!
I knew exactly where to go. Off to the mall, lower level parking garage! This is where I first met him. He jump started my car there once, I thought he was handsome. I could not find the balloons at first. Then I see a security guard standing right in front of them! I pull over there so fast and park and jump out of the car. I grab clue number 2 and run back into the car, kindly thanking the guard for watching my balloons and clue .The 2nd clue said, we had our first kiss here. A while later I promised you my heart. I also knew exactly where to go for this clue too, the Courtyard Marriot! There used to be a movie theater there, which was where we had out first date. He also gave me my promise ring here earlier this year. Then I couldn't find the next clue at all, I was instructed to text my friend Beth if I needed extra hints, I did. Finally found the 3rd clue. The 3rd clue said we used to hang out here late at night. You lived down the street and now we go here for your favorite treat. This one stumped me a little. I went to a beach we used to hang out at, but that was not the correct place. My little clue friend told me to open the clue (I didn't even think that there was stuff in there!!!!) It was a 10$ gift card to Rita's! So off I went. Last clue was my best friend Melissa, who handed me a GPS and told me to drive. So I did. I arrived at my friend Beth's house. The door said, “enter here”. I went up the stairs and walk in the main door and there are rose petals everywhere, huge bouquets of lilies (my favorite!) and then, I see him. Aram on the TV in his dress uniform. Our friends hooked up skype to the TV. He is in the USCG and stationed in Florida. There was a table set for one with a wine glass, roses, plate, and a candle. We chatted for a few minutes then he told me to go get the food out of the oven. I took the food out and come back to the area set up and he is on one knee! He asked me to marry him and I said yes! I cried and he told me he would have given anything to hug and kiss me right then. I am so happy and excited. I am never surprised and he completely shocked me!
