Hi Ladies! I just need to vent as I am very upset right now! I have been engaged for 6 months now (yay!). I know I should not be upset by this but I am! Here goes: My FI proposed after 8 years together and the proposal was perfect. He picked out the most perfect ring...I love it! it is exactly what I "hinted" to him that I wanted when we went ring shopping. It has a diamond band with a princess cut stone. The stone is .85 carats and the band diamonds are .25 total. Things like carat size do not matter to me and never have. The only thing that I hinted to my FI was that I wanted it to "SPARKLE!" and boy does it! The entire thing just has crazy sparle to it.Anyways, I was at a get together with friends and one guy whom I didn't know, says to me, "oh, I see you're engaged! Man that thing sparkels!! But, it's a little small ain't it?"
Who says that to a Bride-to-Be? Eventhough size doesn't matter to me, now I feel like everyone who sees my ring is thinking that!
