I just got engaged on September 5th and my ring was a bit loose, so I immediately took it to be resized. I believe I went from a 5.75 to 5.5.
When I picked my ring up, it was still loose. The jeweler mentioned the temperature change and measured me again. This time, I was a 5. He told me I could have it resized again or I could wait and see if it fit better over the next few weeks.
My ring is still loose. In fact, after washing my hands one day, it fell off. I am terrified of losing my ring and I definitely want to go back and have it resized again. However, I'm not sure if I should do a 5.25 or a 5. I'm worried that it will be too tight when summer comes. I don't want to keep having it resized whenever the temperature changes.
Any suggestions?
