We are still looking into songs,

we have : the power of love by Celine Dion
I finally found someone by Barbara Streisand and Bryan Adams
Theres no Way by Alabama (country)
Bonnie Raitt Lets give them something to talk about ( inside joke ) this one really fits us, considering the time we starting dating we had to keep it on the downlow and there were rumors flying all over the work place  Sealed

Walk down the Aisle is : Led Zepplins Kashmir (hopefully with an electric violin)
Recessional: When you Wish Upon a Star
Entry of Bridal Party at Reception: Phantom of the Opera Overture
First Dance: Tchaichovsky's Sleeping Beauty's Waltz (hopefully a live duet of violin and piano) or Beauty and the Beast (again hopefully live piano)
Father Daughter Dance (provided my dad can dance): Wonderful World

  • Under special topic wedding boards there is a Music section that is dedicated to this question. just a heads up, you may get more ideas there.
And what do you mean by "wedding song"
There are LOTS of songs that are part of the wedding. Are you meaning the first dance song? processional? recessional? Entrance? Send off? The list goes on..

  • Ditto PP: What do you mean by wedding song? If you mean first dance song, we did Ben Folds' "The Luckiest" with our runner-up choice being Bright Eyes' "First Day of my Life." Both beautiful songs.

The only song I know will be in our wedding is "Say Hey (I Love You)" by Michael Franti.
Not sure where yet, we were thinking that's what we'd walk down the aisle too after we're married (is that the recessional song?).
