Looking for a Rustic Ceremny/Reception site

I've looked at Conrad Botzum Farmstead's website and fell in love with it...however, we and my FI's family all live on the eastside of Cleveland.  Does anyone know of similar places in either LAke or Ashatubla County?  THANKS A TON!

Hi, What did you like best about the farmstead? We are looking at that place too but haven't been to visit since we won't be getting married for a few years... The only other place i can think of would be either the Lake Farm Park in Kirtland, but that's more touristy even if it's a working farm. There is also the patterson fruit farm in chester (geauga county) i have also been out there to get apples and it's beautiful. They have a website and a center where they have the weddings. I will keep thinking... Jaclyn

I have yet to set a time to go and check it out. I found the webite from a post on here. I googled it and checked out their website. I also came across a photographer's website who had recently taken pics of a weedding there this past June. http://genevievenislyblog.com/2009/06/08/wedding-conrad-botzum-farmstead/ Check it out. I fell in love. Hope this helps! Leeann

I don't know how rustic of a place you're looking for - Mayfield Country Club isn't a farm but the inside of it reminded me of a rustic stetting . It's also not in lake/ashtabula county, but I thought I'd throw it out there!

Orchard Hills Center in Chesterland is SUPER reasonable, and definately rustic, yet still really beautiful! And Betty the coordinator is AWESOME! Our wedding is in Mentor, and reception is at Orchard Hills, and its not far at all. Check it out:http://www.pattersonfarm.com/html/orchard_hills_center.html

Ditto Orchard Hills in Chesterland. I believe you can bring your own caterer and alcohol in, too.

Leeann, Thanks for the link! I appreciate it. I just thought of another place in Geauga county in Chardon. It's a golf course but the place where the ceremony/reception would be used to be an old dairy barn i think. It's beautiful on the outside and the pictures from the website show that the inside is just a beautiful. www.legendlakegolfclub.com/page/553-22185.htm sorry i can't make it clicky.

I'm having mine at the Pine Lake Trout Club in Chagrin Falls (Geauga County).  It's gorgeous, surrounded by woods, and a huge patio with a river/waterfall/fountain. Food's great and prices are cheap.  At most, it fits around 110 guests.  I really like the staff too.  They've worked really hard to fit within our budget and arrange for the things that my FI and I want.  Plus, you can have your ceremony AND reception there, and we're staying the wedding night in one of their fully-equipped cabins.  We got EVERYTHING (i.e. ceremony site, reception site, service, cabin for  the night, food, bar service, cake cutting, tips, linens, etc.) for $3500.  See their website:http://www.pinelaketroutclub.com/Here's some wedding pics that show a better view of the site:http://genevievenislyblog.com/2008/09/17/ed-and-lisas-reception-at-the-pine-lake-trout-club/
