Quick! Direction Cards!

Getting ready to put invitations together, but having difficulty with direction cards/mapsCeremony is near cleveland reception north of akron.  Do I do two separate directions?  Two separate maps?  Do i just do directions to the reception?  DO I have to do maps if I do directions cards?  Help! Thanks!

I did a general map and put little X's wherever the ceremony and reception is and then put the addresses on the card. I figured with everyone have GPS's and google maps they would look up themselves anyways. I did get cards from weddings I am going to in October with directions for both ceremony and reception one with a map one without a map.Basically, I think it is your preference but people will figure it out not matter what you do!!

What about doing one direction card with all 4, maps and directions. Divide top half for ceremony mini-map and directions, middle for a pretty line *these are part of your invite after all* and then reverse it on the bottom, mini map on opposite side from the top half;  bonus for using a large decorative first letter for each set of directions. You'll make the pros envious.  Reception directions only need to be from the ceremony location...   If it's hard directions or you're worried you can always print off a couple dozen google map/directions, folded carefully in half,  and let your RB/FG or program attendant hand them out after the ceremony-- maybe a basket at the end of the receiving line?  Anyway, more people than ever have GPS/cell phones so don't stress about it- some people will always complain about the directions.

im not doing actual maps nevertheless i think people get lost looking at a map. im just doing direction luckily for me my church and reception are attached so they just go right next door but i have a lot of out of towners from PA so in my directions card i wrote direction from PA and every which way in the cleveland area (I77,I90, I480, I77) you can either write all your directions on the directions card and or add to the recption on the reception card (if your doing a pocketfold)
