I can't believe I haven't posted this yet! i thought I did but i didn't. My fiance proposed to me on October 11,2010. We live in New England so we often to up to Maine and walk around the lighthouses. We were going up to Maine on Octobe 10-11 and we stopped at our favorite one in York,ME. He said "why don't we come back when the sun sets so you can try to get some photo's"..i thought it would be a great idea as I was working on sunset photography. So we went to Portland and checked into our hotel and came back around sunset...we walked around for a while, took a few pictures of ourselves.. and he was setting up the camera on the tripod to take a picture of us while I was turned away looking at something, then he said "turn around!" and he was on one knee and my camera took a picture!! How thoughtful was that??? After a few "OH my gosh" words came out of my mouth, i said YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
I don't wear rings, so he would never know my size or style..he had this cute little cracker jack ring in a little black box that he picked up and hid from me..He was soo nervous because usually i pack his clothes when we go on trips!
That was a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!
