Hi Everyone! I'm excited to say I can finally come to The Knot as a Bride to Be!!!
My boyfriend of 6 1/2 years and I went down to Disney World around 2 weeks ago. We have been trying to take the trip down there for 3 years. The first 2 years we put it off because I wanted to go down when the Harry Potter World was open in Universal (yup, big dork!) and then the 3rd year I was in 4 weddings and it would have been rough financially.
We finally got down to Disney and I was hoping that this would be the time he would propose. We went to park after park, multiple fireworks shows, and he still did not pop the question. On our last night in Disney I was excited to go to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom beneath the Cinderella Castle. We got to the Castle and it was a beautiful night. Another couple who was travelling with us managed to get us up the roped off ramps to the foot of the castle, leaving us with a great view of the lights parade without the crowds of people. While watching my boyfriend told me how happy he was that after 3 years we finally made it to our much anticipated vacation. He then told me he loved me and wanted to show me that he would love me forever and next thing I know he was on one knee! After regaining composure I said Yes 1000 times 
Some people might think its cliché to get engaged in Disney, but for us it was perfect and definitely worth the wait
Can't wait to start the planning!
