Not in an emasulating I got down on one knee in front of our friends kind of way. He said yes. He seems fine about it and suggested picking out rings next weekend, but I'm worried I rushed him. Anyone else had any experience here?

</div><div>I haven't had experience with the proposal the other way around. In regards to how he may feel about it... only you can know if he is comfortable with it. Considering he said that he thinks you two should look at rings together.. maybe he does feel good about it. I'd talk to him about it and ask him how he does feel.</div>

I joked with my FI that if he didn't hurry up and propose already I would (we already had the ring at this point), but he made it pretty clear that he wanted to do it.

If your FI seems fine with it, then I would just let it settle for awhile and discuss it later if you need to.

Congrats!!! I also think that the best thing that you can do it talk to him if you are reserved about this at all. If you think that you rushed him them talk to him about it. I agree w/ PP if he suggested looking at rings I doubt that he feel's that way.

heck thats what my mom did. they pretty much just talked about it for a while, and one day she just asked him to marry her.  he said yes and they went and picked out her ring.  i think you just need to talk about it together to make sure that is what you both for sure want, and take it from there.
