I came home from work yesterday and Chris was already home. The doorbell was ringing one after the other with kids coming to get their candy. The doorbell rang this one particular time and I yelled to him in the other room that it was his turn, he said no so I ran to the door, he followed. It was our neighbors, husband wife and 7 yr old daughter. I gave the little girl candy and spoke to the mother for a minute when she then said to her daughter "Don't you have something for her?" I was so confused thinking she was giving me candy but instead pulls out a ring box from her candy bag, she puts it in and hand and I look at Chris and start bawling. I froze and the little girl yelled at me to "open it" so I opened it and bawled some more and he nervously asked me if I'll marry him. Of course I said yes! The best part is the little girls father was video taping the entire thing, I cant wait to see the tape.
It was such a surprise and I couldn't be happier
