My friends and coworkers are throwing us an Engagement Party. My fiance and I work together so its mainly work people. We don't have any family that live near us.
My friends want to invite a lot more people from work than I plan to invite to the actual wedding. Is it poor etiquette to invite people to a wedding related party but not the wedding?
I was really hoping for a smaller size wedding, under 80 people, and including all the people we work with that also are part of our social circle I'd be looking at over 100 guests.
