I'm NYE, but it's coming pretty soon, but I'm one that thinks about everything well in advance. I was talking to my friends the other day and they were joking about how when I get married my name will change obviously. All of my friends call me by my last name, which is unusual, but when i get married it will change. I'm not really attached to my last name because I don't have a relationship with my father, but its what everyone knows me by. I really like my middle name because I have a cousin that was named that after me. I just really don't know which one to drop. The other issue with my last name is that if I keep it my name will definitely be one of those that is very awkward- Troutman Brooks. I'm not sure If I want to have to live with that for the rest of my life, but seriously all of my friends, sorority sisters everyone calls me by my last name. I just really don't know what to do and thought that I could use an unbiased outside opinion. And I definitely don't want to just keep all of them because my mom did that and its really annoying for her. So if any of you have any suggestions please feel free to let me know, especially if you think what my name would be sounds as awkward and stupid as I feel like it will. ! I'm relatively new on here too so I'm excited to get the hang of it! And no matter which name I choose (middle or last) my monogram will be the same which makes me really happy
