Hello everyone!
It's 12:48 a.m. here but I can't sleep because I just got engaged tonight! I still can't believe it. I've been surfing this site for a month now just anxiously waiting for the day when I would actually be engaged, and now it's finally here!
Here's my proposal story:
The proposal was completely surprising to me. My now fiancé actually JUST bought the ring today (Monday), which I knew about, but he told me they had to special order it because of the small size. I have small fingers. 
I totally believed him because they had told me they might have to do that. So I was thinking the ring wouldn't be in for a couple of weeks. He had also said it'd be a couple of months before he proposed because he wanted to surprise me. In the meantime, he had decided to propose tonight because he was too excited to hang on to the ring. So he called a lot of his friends and let them know he was going to do it.
He had a baseball game tonight so we went to his hometown to pick up his dad. We were early getting to his town so we decided to stop by his church so I could "see what I was missing." Before getting engaged we talked about getting married and I told him I really wanted to get married at the church I grew up in. So he wanted me to just see his church. The doors were locked, so we went around back to the little garden area where there are bells from the old church. He got down on one knee and told me now both of our churches would be special because we got engaged at his and married at mine. And then he asked me to marry him. I was completely shocked and VERY happy. It was the perfect proposal.
I am beyond excited and can't wait to marry the love of my life! I look forward to chatting with all of you on these boards!
