Hi all... I am newly engaged for almost two months, and just now really getting into the planning mode.
I've been thinking about New Year's Eve 2011, sometime in January, or...March. My mind keeps taking me back to March....possibly March 3. I KNOW that I want a winter wedding. I don't want a spring or summer wedding, and as much as I love fall, I don't think my fiance' will want to wait a whole year before we get married. I know that I can't really plan something that I want for this fall, since it's SO soon!
Anyway, what do you all think about March weddings? I know that it is still considered a winter month, so I know it will still be cool. I'm kind of stuck on colors, themes, etc...I want it to look like somewhat like a winter wonderland (think sparkly, etc.) but I know that it's not Christmas, so I don't want it to seem "out of place" for March. March just seems to be a good time of year...not a whole lot going on, no major events in my family like birthdays, and we're both slower at work. I would love a February wedding, but not sure if I should since my birthday and Valentine's Day are both in February.
As you can tell, I just don't know where to start...but I have to nail down this date soon!!!
