First off CONGRATULATIONS to you all! I wish each and everyone of you have happy long lives with your future husbands. I hope that your wedding is the one of your dreams and that at the end of the day you are truly happy and content.
Now STOP....right about now your probably sitting at your computers and having just read this are in complete daydream mode thinking of flowers and beautiful cakes and such. That is not a bad thing, every bride does it at one point or another.
This post is a reminder of this one little fact. At the end of that day you are marrying the man you intend to spend the rest of your life with. At the end of the day nothing else matters. We sometimes forget this and end up making what should be one of the funniest, and happiest times of our lives the most stressful.
We fuss over the beads on a dress, we get mad when a bridesmaid has an opinion that we dont agree with, we ruin friendships, stretch family bonds, and sometimes we almost lose the man we love in the process.
I know being a bride myself that no wedding is perfect. Things WILL go wrong sometimes.
Whether its the weather, or a wedding party member being late, or forgetting a bouquet in a rush to leave. There will be times when you will get stressed or upset, its natural, and it will pass.
So when u start your wedding planning remember WHY you are planning a wedding, and....
Take the time to enjoy being engaged, don't start planning two hours after he proposes.
Have fun planning your wedding.
When things get crazy, step back and take a breath
Don't make your whole engagement about planning,
Take breaks and go do something fun with your man.
At the end of it all ENJOY your wedding day.
