Hey everyone,

I just got engaged last week. As part of my "day," my FI got me a gift certificate to get a manicure. Now I'm semi-obsessed with checking and touching up my nails! lol

Anyone else experience this?

yup!!!  Ever since the ring has been put on and the continuously flashing of the ring...I freak if my nails and hands aren't perfect...My FI didn't get me a manicure, but I spend an hour a couple of times a week fixing them myself

btw Congrats on your engagement!!!  Have fun with it lol!!  What other time is better than having an excuse to pamper yourself than an engagment

My bridesmaids and I are going to start having little mani/pedi parties!!!  Bring your party into your excitment...great way to get wedding planning kicked off on a happy and energetic foot!!

That's a great idea! Unfortunately, we're not all in the same state, but I was thinking of having an old-fashioned slumber party the night before the wedding for manis/pedis, catch-up gossip, etc. :-)

That's wonderful!
I seriously have the ugliest nails.  I bite at them and a few nails have some deep ridges in them.  It's hereditary. 
A good solution to biting nails is to get fake nails put on.  Nothing to bite at.
I agree that I want to keep my nails looking as good as they can.  I don't want weird wedding photos!

I bite my nails, and they are disgusting! It's embarrassing haha.

Definitely getting a manicure the week before the wedding.
