Just Engaged!

I just got engaged the other night **YAYY** and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to sort of announce it through our Christmas cards this year?--Any ideas? Has anyone done this before?

To clear it up---Everyone pretty much knows already, we just thought it would be cute to send out our Christmas cards with pictures and I was trying to figure out cute wording.

I don't think you'd have time for a professional photographer to get you prints, but you could ask a friend to take a picture of you and your FI doing something cute and then you could use the picture as part of a Christmas card Just make sure you don't say a date or anything... people may then think it's a save the date which could get really messy because then everyone getting a Christmas card needs a wedding invitation! Make sure it says Happy Holidays on it!

Here are a few ideas:

- You holding a sign that says, "I said yes" while you're kissing or hugging

- A picture of your FI pretending to propose

- The 2 of you holding a sign that says, "Soon to be"

You could always do one of the Christmas letter things that some families do, about what happened over the past year... and getting engaged would certainly be towards the top of the exciting things list.  But only if you're comfortable with it. Some people are, some aren't.
