I just got engaged as of May 2nd 2011. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on getting our engagement out in newspapers? Do I need to place one in my Grandmas local newspaper? I know she would love that!

Congrats on your engagement. For the announcement, just write it up and submit it to the newspaper, these announcements are usually free.
