Just found out I got accepted to one of my top-choice grad schools!! It's in our hometown, which means FI wouldn't have to change jobs, moving would be a lot easier, we could be near our families... plus it's a great area in general. The school itself isn't known for my program (opera), but the voice teachers are fantastic and have had international careers and are very respected in the opera world. The school is also strongly affiliated with the local professional opera company. Plus it's a state school, so it's not outrageously expensive (always a plus). Ahhhhhh so excited!!! Just had to share
