I am so glad I found this board! I have been reading your posts for a while now but, not yet having the ring yet, I wasn't sure if I should create an account. But while I'm here, let me introduce myself...
I'm currently a junior in college and a Business Marketing major. My boyfriend and I have been together a year now. He has been seriously ready to get married since month 3.. after a lot of prayer and conversation I am now in the "I can't wait for him to be my husband" boat. Marriage, weddings, life plans/goals are part of our daily conversation, and I am beyond blessed to have met the man I want to spend the rest of my life with.
We met at our University and spent an inseperable year together before he changed his major, causing him to transfer schools this year (we are in the same state, but 7 hours driving distance apart, with a 1 hour difference in the time zones). The upside is that now we will graduate at the same time, and since he is living at home he is saving money for the ring/wedding/honeymoon/after-marriage-life funds.
Since the school year just started, I am also starting a new job this weekend at Frederick's of Hollywood, Not only am I excited, but my friends are too since I will have a discount. haha Honestly, I am saving up for the wedding/life-after-marriage fund for the next 2 years while I finish up school.
There's no date yet set, but we are hoping to get married as soon as we both graduate in 2 years, so I guess that puts the wedding, Lord-willing, in 2013.
