I have noticed something...

Hi there!

I have noticed that the people who are new to this board have been posting introductions about themselves.  So, I thought I would join in the fun!

My name is Sarah, I will be 22 in a few months.  My fiance is Joseph and he is 24.  I am a Massage Therapist (licenced in 3 states) as well as a student; Joseph is an auto mechanic.  I am going to school for Occupational Therapy.

We met in Aug. of 2008, and he proposed to me on Feb. 13 this year!

I am not sure if I am supposed to write anything else, so I suppose if you hvae questions feel free to ask!

    Sounds so exciting!
Welcome to the student board.  I usually do more reading than posting, but I thought I would say HI, I'm Angie.

I am working for my undergraduate degree in English Literature and library science.  Soon heading off to grad school for a masters in library science.  Oh, and there's a wedding somewhere in all this. :)

    Anyway, have a GREAT weekend.
  • Hi! Welcome to the Students Board. I'm more of a lurker than a poster as well... I'm a fourth year student at pharmacy school. ... And I'm thinking of applying to vet school when I graduate in 2012. (o: We'll see! GL with planning and studies!!
Married in Boston, MA: Nov 8, 2013.
    Me: 27. Him: 30. DD: >1.
Vow Renewal in Beavercreek, OH: July 1, 2017.
  • I'm not really new to the board, but I'm more of a lurker than a poster, unless something gets me especially riled up.

My name's Beth, I'm graduating int 27 days (!!!) with a Bachelor's in Microbiology, and I'll be starting my Medical Technology internship year in July (well, June 28 technically). BF graduated last year with a Bachelor's in Mining Engineering and he'll be finished with his Bachelor's in Spanish in August. BF has been studying abroad in Spain since September, so it's been a VERY long distance relationship for the last 7 months. I'm going out there to visit and bring him back to the States in the beginning of June.

We've been together since November 2008, no engagement yet, and I'm quite okay with that. Neither of us is ready to be married just yet, and frankly, given the brouhaha that erupted over a friend's recent engagement (he got engaged 3 weeks ago to a woman he only started dating in February), I think it may be a while. Which is fine--we both need to stabilize ourselves as adults anyway.
  • I'm also more of a lurker than a poster. I plan on completing my Bachelor's in Psychology in May 2012, and will be getting married that June. I am then going to get a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy.

FI and I have been together since October 2005 (about 4 1/2 years) and got engaged December 2009.
  • ditto PP, I'm a lurker too. I'm Nikki and majoring in Aerospace Engineering (graduate in 26 days!) my FI graduated from the same univ as me last year and is now is the Air Force stationed in Texas. We started dating a little over a year ago and are getting married in April 2010 :)
  • Hi there!

I'm new as well.  I'm a third year veterinary student and my FI is a third year dental student!  We have been doing the long distance thing all through prof. school and are planning on getting married after we both graduate in 2011!
  • Hi all!  This has inspired me to introduce myself too...I just discovered this board not too long ago.  I'm a math and English major at a small liberal arts school in Virginia.  I just got engaged in February and am getting married next summer after I graduate!  My fiance goes to school with me but is graduating next month with degrees in computer science and piano performance.  It's nice to see some other engaged students out there- best wishes to all of you!
  • welcome to the board! Good luck with wedding planning and with finals!
