I got some great news today. So when I applied to my grad school I was hoping to get an assistantship for coaching their speech team, but then they didn't have the money or something so I didn't get it. It sucked because it would cover most of tuition plus a stipend, but whatever, I was still going to go here.
Well, today I was at the team meeting and the coach asked me if I ever got my money from the school. I was like, "Uh... if you mean loans, then yes." And then he told me I'm supposed to be getting assistantship money because I'm actually a graduate assistant. So now he's going to talk to the school and find out what's up because I should be getting it.
Such great news! The money is going to help out so much! Now I can stop applying to Starbucks for a part-time work, haha.
