Bon dia! So, as I'm becoming more accustomed to my schedule this semester (the beginning of my senior year!), I find myself asking why did I decide to major in a language, specifically Spanish? I mean, I know that with me living in Florida, knowing Spanish will probably come in handy in quite a few situations. At the same time, I'm beginning to hate how challenging this semester will probably be. I'm taking a Spanish Linguistics class, an Intro to Catalan class, and a Spanish Literature class, all towards my major. Of course, I have another class for GenEd and then I'm working part time, but that stuff doesn't really phase me too much.
So, are there any other language majors here? And if so, what language(s)?
I ask because it seems like a lot of you ladies are education majors or at least seeking some type of degree in an education related field.
