Any other nursing students out there?

I'm a returning student (I'm 24 and went to a different school for writing right out of high school and that didn't work out) and in my first semester!

I'm not sure if I'm going to pursue a BSN (I'm just going for RN right now).

Anyway, FI and I just decided to get married. There's a long and (while funny) not romantic engagement story, but the short version is that we've been together for almost five years and now that he's started his new job (Correctional Officer at a prison near us), we finally have the money to have a wedding.

The date's June 4th, 2011, so hopefully I wont be taking 18 hours next semester and I'll have plenty of time to plan!

I'm an ADN student and I graduate next Dec.  I am going to persue my BSN the fall of 2012 I hope to be done with my BSN before we get married.  SO is waiting for me to get done with school and get a job before he thinks about proposing.  I have a good long time  to wait but I know it'll be worth it in the end.

I'm a BSN student but won't be done for 2 years but my fiance graduated from Ohio State over a year ago and got a job and proposed a month later so we're getting married January 8, 2011! I love nursing so much but for now planning and studying do not go together lol

I'm a BSN student too!!  Took me a few years to figure out what I was gonna do, now I'm 24 and have finally settled on a college and have a ton of scholarships to pay for it.  I'm getting married October of 2011, right in the middle of the semester lol.  We aren't taking our honeymoon until the winter break, and while the planning and the studying are definately a challenge, I have a lot of people helping me out.  Good Luck with school and the wedding!  Both will be worth it!

Im an ADN student done in may 2011. Wedding june 25th 2011!!! can't wait! Hopefully I can take my boards test before the wedding. Not to worried about getting everything done. Its going to be a simple but nice outdoor wedding at a family friends meadow. My mom is helping alot. I might get my BSN later in life. I'm 24 yrs old as well. Fi and I are wanting alot of things in life and dont want to wait forever.

I am persuing an ASN and will graduate May 2011 with a wedding in Sept 2011!!! I am looking forward to being done with school and the stress that comes with it. I am also taking extra classes to go towards my BSN which I will complete at a later date. Taking things one day at a time...

I am persuing my ADN, graduating in May 2012.  Our wedding will be that summer or fall, to be determined soon.  Wedding planning is such a distraction from studying though!

ADN nursing student here. Im graduating in December if 2011 and My wedding is in April of 2012. So hard to focus on clinical and tests while trying to plan the wedding. Stressful!
