Pre Cana

So the time is coming for us to go to Pre Cana to be married in the Catholic Church. Have any of you been to the Pre Cana classes at the Jesuit Retreat House in Parma? If so, how were your experiences there? TIA!

I have not been to that particular church, but I just wanted to say we REALLY enjoyed our Pre Cana.  It was all day on a Saturday, so DH was less then thrilled, but he ended up enjoying it as much (or more so!) than I did.  We even managed to learn new things about each other, which we thought was impossible considering we've been together for 7 years.  Good luck with yours!

We went to pre cna at the jesuit retreat house in Parma.  IT was really nice and pretty laid back.  The couples that they had come talk to everyone were nice, friendly, and non judging.  I was surprised at the diversity of the group but everyone was very welcoming and tolerant.  I was surprised even to see a pregnant woman (since my home church in particular prob. wouldnt have been so tolerant) but eveyrthing went smoothly.

We did Pre Cana at the Jesuit Retreat House in Parma.  DH and I had a wonderful experience.  The entire day was pretty laid back and fairly interesting.  We didn't necessarily learn anything new about each other, but it allowed us to really have a chance to talk about things that we didn't always have time for.  I would recommend JRH.

we just had our pre-cana at the jesuit retreat house about a week and a half ago. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...parts of it were very boring, but there were some good speakers too.  I would suggest packing a small snack though! They didn't give us a snack break until after 3:00 (they provided a few snacks) and everyone was starving...then they served dinner at 5:00
