So below you will find our vendor reviews for our wedding on October 10th. I will admit that no guest was aware of any issue that may have come up - well all but the missing vegetarian main dishes and the woman who passed out on the floor shutting down the reception for about 30 minutes (and we had a cash bar by the way). Either way we are married and thats the important part - plus we have a lot of stories to tell for years to come....lol. If you want to see pictures you can check out our wedding page:
www.warnerwedding2009.com If you need any contact info for any of the vendors feel free to ask! Officiant: Candy Besenfelder A Great price - non-denominational. Thats all we wanted but she was more. Her price included a meeting about a month before the wedding to go over the ceremony - doing the rehersal (which I learned a lot of people charged extra for) and the ceremony. Plus she drove from Lakewood to Madison! Totally sweet too. Kind of improvised a little during the ceremony - threw us off a bit but did not ruin the ceremony at all - in fact people said it was very personal - could have also helped that we wrote our own vows....but either way she was wonderful. And also called me a couple times just to see if I needed help with anything for the wedding! I didnt but it was really sweet of her to offer. DJ: Party Paramedics-Joe Evans (Owner/DJ) A+ Lukily Joe is a friend and gave us a great discount becuase he knew we could not afford a DJ any other way. But even with that he did a great job. He did the music for the ceremony - and had a seperate system set up at the reception hall so when guests arrived they would have music playing (It was all in the same area). He kept the party going - stuck to our lists even when asked to break it (lol). And even when a woman passed out on the floor he helped take care of the situation and and soon as it was taken care of he was right back on it getting people to dance again. I couldnt have asked for someone better to have done our music, Oh, and he also came to the buffet line and carried my plate for me - he says he does it for every bride becuase he has seen too many dresses get ruined from the bride dropping the plate. It was a really nice gesture. Photographer: Tom Hunter Carlson A+++++++++++ OMG! My absolute favorite part of it all (well I guess second to my husband). Tom and his assistant Eric were really great guys - got along with everyone easily. Took some AMAZING photos!!! I cannot even explain how amazing he was and how CHEAP he was too! The second cheapest I found - and he knocked it down cause I wanted to do printing. I cannot recommend him enough!! Please, Please, Please - if you are looking for a photographer at least add him to your list to check out. To see some of our photos go to:

Videographer: David Winnie Grade Pending I have not seen a video yet - but it has only been 1 1/2 weeks so it should be soon. But he was not in anyones way at all during the night - in fact I had to ask if he was there for the getting into the dress a few days after the wedding and realized he was when I saw some friends pics and he was in the background....lol. So yeah, heres hoping the video is good. I'll let you know. Cake: Create-a-Cake A+ Not only did they have amazing flavors but the cakes turned out wonderful! I could not have been happier and my husand loved his grooms cake. The cake went over really well too - and the carrot cake layer went first and was the hit of the night! Ceremony Location/Reception: Thunderhill Golf Course B So overall the location is beautiful and I loved it. Now for the details. Up until about 3 months before the wedding it was horrible trying to get in touch with someone.....but after that they got back to me within a day or so. I did not receive an invoice till about 5 days before the wedding so I could not dispute any pricings - which is a whole diffreent story. They did do their best at trying to help with decorating and let us come the day before to set up the hall. The food was wonderful - minus the fact that they did not have one of the side dishes I ordered and paid for. They even let us stay and extra 30 minutes since we have the drunken pass out issue that shut things down. I mean there were a lot of goods - so dont let me put you off. I really was happy with everything in the end and it was nothing that ruined my day. But if you go with them just be prepared to do most of the communication initiation and make sure you keep everything in writing....it will help. Little Vendors: Davids Bridal: A Overpriced alterations but loved the dress and everything about the experience American Commedor: A Did their jobs and even ordered my husband an extra jacket so he could choose on the day which one he felt fit better.
