Any Boudoir advice?

Hi ladies! A few of us are embarking on a boudoir marathon next week and I was wondering if any of you that have done a boudir shoot (or maybe even those who havent) have any advice? Outfits, props, things to do, things not to do, beauty tips? :) Thought it never hurts to ask! TIA!

fake eyes lashes, practice your face in the mirror once or twice (I had a friend that did them and she schrunched her eye brows the whole time), and look online for inspiration (outfits, props, poses).  I brought a bunch of ideas to my photographers and we did them.  I'm a huge fan of long pearls (I got mine from Claires).Just have fun with it and be prepared to go outside of your comfort zone a little!

I did not do any, but if I did I would have had my hair clipped up and shots of me letting it down. Also I would have had a sheet just covering the most personal parts in a teasing way.  I did see one where the girl wore a thong and laid on her stomach and had her let back to where her strap from thong was pulled by the heal of her shoe. I liked that. I do not know who did it but the pic was great. Good Luck!

Come to the shoot with some ideas in mind of poses you'd like to do.  This will help the photographer get a better idea of what you want for your photos and will help him/her come up with similar ideas of poses that you will most likely feel the most comfortable in (which equates into HOT photos of you!).  Think about what if your favorite part of your body (or your FI/DH's) and emphasize that!  As the other girls said, practice some of your facial expressions/poses in the mirror to get more comfortable.  Just a slight tilt of the jaw, smile/no smile, change in direction you look, can give you a fab shot that wasn't expected.  Props are always good and you can NEVER have too many outfits!Good luck with your shoot and have FUN! :-)
