Any clinical psych grad students here?

I just finished my first year in a clinical psych doctorate program and am getting married over the summer. I didn't want to leave the wedding planning for when I also have to do practicum. Have any of you guys found challenges with the wedding specific to the clinical program requirements? Sometimes I feel like I am loosing my mind between regression analysis, practicing therapy role plays, and then going home and calling vendors...

    Sorry, I am really late posting here. I just finished my first year in a clinical psych grad program! I am also getting married this summer. I planned a lot of the wedding before I started classes last summer, so that hasn't been a problem. However, we are required to take the first session of summer classes, so my summer finals are the Wed. before my Sat. morning wedding! Such is life as a grad student though! At least after the wedding I will have a month and a half off before fall classes start. Still waiting to hear about my practicum placement... hopefully it wont start before I'm back from my honeymoon.

    I'm in the same boat as you guys.  I just finished my 2nd year of grad school.  My fiance and I have decided to wait until the summer between classes & internship to get married because I couldn't bear to think of doing my dissertation, clinical competency exams & worrying about internship all at the same time. 

    Good luck with planning & studying!
