Hello I'm currently trying to set up a contract with hosanna designs flowers. I loved her prices but shes been really bad at communicating with me. It took her three weeks to send me a contract she said she send in two days and she was suppose to send me pictures of a silk mock-up the next day and its been two weeks longer than stated and I've yet to receive it still. I havn't signed the contract and I'm getting nervous. Did any brides that used her have this same problem? I've heard good things about her work. Maybe shes just busy and is behind? I dont want to be overly picky but this is really starting to bug me. Shes always polite when she responds, shes never been rude. Am I just being too inpatient? Did other brides have this problem, did it get better for the wedding? Thanks.

Hmm very interesting that you should post this, because I too am thinking of using her, and have had a few things happen that made me hesitant.  For one, she did take a while to get back to me, but I didn't worry about it too much because I had told her that I wasn't in a huge rush and my wedding isn't until next July.  But then when i talked to her about the flowers and what Ineeded, she then sent a quote and a lot of stuff was off on it.  Like for example she had only 4 bridesmaid bouquets instead of 5, daisy bouts instead of roses, brown ribbon instead of black for the bouts, stuff like that.  I am in the same boat as you because I know this is all little stuff and it would be taken care of before the wedding, but it makes me wonder.  Wish I could help you but I'm def. in the same situation.

I also tried to work with her and I never received an email back when I sent them one for a price quote. I went with rosesforweddings instead, who is very easy to contact.

I just contaced rosesforweddings and she emailed me back with a price quote in under 5 minutes!  She said she books brides 1-2 years in advance so I'm gonna meet with her and possibly book her also.  I may meet with Helene as well just to get a better feel for her, but she is making me a little nervous.

I'm dealing with the same thing! Helene is a total sweetheart and very creative. Of course the prices are AWESOME too. First of all my first time setting up a meeting with her, she forgot about me and I sat at Panera for an hour waiting! My fault for forgetting to put her # in my cell, but beside the point. We did end up meeting a week later and I was very happy with her. I loved her ideas and she made me feel like she was excited about MY wedding. I have also had to wait quite a while for her to email me back, and when I asked for her to send me a contract so we could sign and give her a deposit it did take a couple weeks. Reading the other posts makes me a little worried about the day of the wedding going smoothly, but I've let everything else go. She's just a flaky artsy person and I trust that everything will look great. The fact that she is giving me a lot more flowers and more expensive flowers for less than half the price I've been quoted for others, makes it easy to let go. That being said, if you like to make sure you have control of every tiny detail, and most brides do, I would consider using someone else. I'm pretty laid back about everything!

A girl on here used her for her wedding I am pretty positive-Val and I think in her review she said that one of the bouquets fell apart before the wedding?  And maybe she got some different stuff from what she ordered?  I don't recall completely... In any case, I tried to get ahold of her, she never got back to me so I gave up.  I figured she didn't want my business.  So, I used Blooms and Arne who was extremely responsive-not only him, but his team.  I highly recommend them.  We got lots of complements on our flowers.  (especially my bouquet and the BM bouquets)
