florist in the Akron/Canton area

I saved my florist search until last and would love some recommendations for florists in the Akron/Canton/Green area.  Also, if anyone has any advice about meeting with florists, that would be much appreciated too.  TIA!

I am using Bonnies Bloomers from Ravenna. Her design is great and she is moderately priced. She works out of her home. We looked at 2 other florists that we really liked in the area, Seville Flower and Gift (in Seville) and Blooms (in North Canton). Both had a great eye for design with Bloom being the more modern one. Bloom was also the most expensive. I think, in my opinion, that any of these florists would do a good job. We went with Bonnie because she was the most personable and creative and had a good price. Hope that helps.

I used Suzy Q Weddings.  Susan works out of her home in Mogadore.  The bouquets, bouts, and centerpeices all turned out perfectly and her pricing is the best around.  The website is a little outdated so don't let it scare you away!  http://www.suzyqweddings.com/  Good luck!

I used country flowers and herbs in Hartville. LOVED them. A lot of guests said they'd never seen such beautiful bouquets. Very easy to work with. If you check out their website, make sure you go to the bottom to "our original arrangements" or something like that. I like those a lot more than FTD.Advice is this: a)have a budget in mine (a realistic one) b) have an idea of what's most important to you flower-wise to meet that budget. If your orchid bouquet is most important, you may have to skimp other places. c) Have pictures of things you like. Lots of them. Be able to identify what you like about them. My florist had a lot of books to look through, but there's so much more variety on the internet, that I was able to show a better idea of what I liked and have a shorter meeting. d) Bring a swatch of the bridesmaids' dress fabric if possible to help with color matching. I also brought a copy of the invitation so that he could get an idea how I liked colors together and about the general style of the wedding. Have fun! My flowers were my favorite detail.
