Flowers

Hey ladies! Just thinking about flowers. When should I start contacting florists? We have about 8 months to go! Also, did any of you take or email pictures of what you were looking for, the bridesmaids dresses, or even your dress? I'm just not exactly sure how to go about things. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you recommend any florists, please let me know. Thanks!

We started meeting with florists when we had about 4 or 5 months to go before the wedding, but if you have a particular florist in mind and you know they'll book up fast, it wouldn't hurt to start calling around now.At each meeting, I brought a swatch of fabric from my dress as well as the bridesmaid dresses (since it was closer to the wedding, I had both in hand). I also brought a photo of my dress so they could see the level of detail for ideas, and a few pics of flowers and arrangements I liked -- not a ton though, maybe 4 or 5? My florist didn't 'do' email, but if yours does, that's a nice way to get pics or even links w/ your ideas to them.

I'm about nine months out and I booked my florist last week, and she was pretty busy. I knew who I wanted so I did it as soon as I could.

    i booked my florist already~
im using ROSES FOR WEDDINGS and they are VERY reasonable~ i got a good deal!
i showed her pictures of what i wanted and thats whats going to happen :)
plus if you want char covers they have them there too!

bridesmaids dresses , ive been looking at the websites to see if i find anything i like~ personally, im picky, and i havent found anything i liked at the right price~ the BM dreses i wanted cost 360 so im going to have a friend custom make them for each girl for only 150!

my wedding dress found it just have to go get my fitting.
first see what type if style that you went and then go into a bridal store and try on a bunch of dresses in that style.

thats what i did i knew what i wanted and im so happy i found the perfect dress!
