My home!

Your place is so cute and perfectly clean looking. I wanted to take me shows off just looking at the pics ;) I love that you have a stool to reach the top cabinets. I get so upset when DH puts the dishes away and something I use often its hiding up there.

Aww, thank ya :) I do admit, we each are a little obsessed with organization.. hahAnd a funny thing about shoes here, people rarely go in other people's houses with their shoes on unless its a big get together. Its actually common for a person to bring 'indoor shoes' to a dinner party to switch into. It cracks me up!

Really?? I would love that. When we had our new carpet put in I made people take their shows off fo rthe first couple of months. I always felt bad asking

Indoor shoes?  How funny!  I know some people don't like others to walk in their house with shoes on but I never heard of people bringing indoor shoes.

If I were doing the asking, I'd feel awkward too; but as a guest, I would totally be understanding.Ty, Kasi!I think its a little ridiculous :) I would hate to spend like, $30+ on shoes that I can only wear inside!

HAhaha! I did feel awkward. We had an xmas party at our house right after we had the new carpet. The day before I went out and bought all the girls those holiday slipper bootie things and cheap slippers for the guys and then threw them all in a basket. When everyone showed up I told people to pick from the basket and people (esp the girls) really loved it. I was surprised at how well me tricking them into not wearing their shows in my house went.

super cute! I like the chandelier. I think I missed why you live in Finland again, are you from there or is DH?I'm guilty of asking people to take off their shoes.. other than the fact that we have newer white carpet, I just blame it on being half asian.. asian people don't usually wear shoes indoors.
