NWR: Work Vent

so i got back to work yesterday, but in reality, i have been attending meeting these past 3 weeks, trying to figure out what was happening to my department in the district due to budget cuts....soooo my department got wiped out, BUT not my position...they gave control of the position to another department that doesnt have time to deal with us. so basically its kinda like a fade out of the position...next year, i bet my position wont exist anymore...even though we have a HUGE dropout rate, and our jobs have assisted with increasing graduation rate...:deep breathe:...anywho, my school owns my a$$ now, which means i have to do what they say....put it this way, i came to work and someone told me i was in another position...but i still have the title of the other position...as you can read there confusion all around...i just got told i work 6 hrs. now and not 8 hrs....i was like "i have to work 8 hrs., that what the job title has to have"...they say no your 6 hrs. now...i said does my pay change from these past 2 checks i got...they said "NOPE"....so i got a 100$ decrease in pay but now get 4 more weeks off work and only work 6 hrs. instead of 8 a day....i know i should shut the F'up and be excited, but i'm so confused and lost. and NO ONE has the right answer :sigh: so frustrating, and yet not too complicated...the reason i worry, is cause last year was crazy at the end of the year with budget cuts, so this year everyone has to be #1...so i dont know if i'm being tricked to be a slaker!! lol sorry for vent:(

Oh wow Jenn!  That is some psycho crap.I also heard on the news LA schools are trying to find new ways to make money like sell clothes and get endorsements.  CRAZY!  I can't believe they keep cutting school budgets.  We're going to have a  dumb a$$ uneducated country.

I hate this state. It is so effed up. Making our childern even MORE uneducated will solve no problems. And believe me in a few years it will cause sooooooo much more problems. I am going to school to be a HS Bio teacher. Luckily, I'm getting my BA in Biology (not a BA in Liberal Arts) so I can do other things just incase this budget cutting shiiit gets worse. I've already talked to one of my friends that works at a research lab. That job is sounding better and better as the days go by.
