LOL you guys. To make a long story short, our photogs were a husband and wife team. We met the husband and he was super nice and super sweet. When we were ready to sign, we met his wife who was actually kind of scary and mean. But we were getting close and every other photographer I spoke to was booked, so I felt rushed to sign with someone so we did it anyway. Long story short, she was really rude to our guests. I understand that they have a job to do, but I don't really see professionalism in her yelling at various members of our family for taking pics with their cameras (I didn't even notice them taking pics, so I don't see how it could have really gotten in the way). So she was really mean and very, very unprofessional. So, I believe that our contracts said that we will get the photos two weeks after our wedding. She's my friend on FB and I see her status about going on vacation, etc and we still haven't seen photos. So I ask her and she puts the photos up on her site, but we can't copy them.. It's been two months now and I have yet to receive our CD. So other than her being hard to deal with, our photos are really mediocre. I didn't want full on photo journalism, but they really advertised themselves with atleast a little bit of editing. She said she was into details, but there are tons of details (that were a lot of $$$) that weren't photographed. Their contract demanded a hot meal, so we paid for a full price meal and they took an almost 2 hour break eating it. Bottom line, the photos are just hardly edited and I feel like anyone could have taken them with our canon. I edited the photo in my siggy myself. I see pictures on TK all the time of the lighting in weddings showing up in the pictures, but they said they couldn't capture the lighting (but my friends cameras could?)I think she is upset that we are not ordering one of her $3000 books, so she went half @ssed on taking the pics and editing. What do you do at this point though? Yes, I'm sad I don't like the pictures but I can't recreate the day There were a lot of red flags with them, but I guess I felt rushed to make a decision.We were thinking of possibly doing a beach shoot with a photographer that knows what they are doing with editing and colors and lighting and photography in general.

I just took this off my friends FB.. the husband is in the white shirt and she is behind him in black (on the left) with the damask bag, getting ready to yell at jon's older great aunt for taking a photo. I thought this pretty much summed it up. I almost commented on it then I remembered she was my friend on FB. Why though, what is this old lady doing that is harming her so much? LOL yeah they do the wife really didn't do anything during that time but tell people to back off taking their own photos. She probably wants people to buy the 4x6's from them for $20/piece instead of taking their own.

This seriously sounds like ANdrew's aunt who was our photog!  they are a husband/wife team and I had to edit my own pics!  Also, I never even got the cd of pics.  We had to ask my FIL for it (somehow he had them).  They also told people to stop taking pics!  I hate my pictures too.

It just seems like alot of vendors these days are getting worse and worse. Once they have your full payment its like there is no motivation for them to provide you with very much. Dont get me wrong, I was very happy with almost all of my vendors but it does seem like once they have your money its almost impossible to get a call back let alone what you paid for in a timely fashion. Well Jojo I think you look amazing in the pics I have seen so far so hopefully you can edit the pics so its not a total bust.

Oh Jojo. I'm sorry to hear that! As soon as you get those pictures you make sure you tell her how unhappy you are with her services. Then write reviews on yelp and weddingwire and any other review site you can find so other couples don't have to go thorugh the same crap as you =( So sad.

Thanks you guys. My BM that does photography said that she'll edit some... and Bre, I looked them up on those sites and I couldn't even find them! LOL, I guess I should have done more research than just trusting MI's opinion.
