DJ recommendations? Anyone used Taco Man catering/DJ?

We're getting married in Rancho Cucamonga and are planning to hire Taco Man (taco-man.com-- there are a bunch of them out there!) for catering. They also offer a DJ at a great price ($100/hr. for the first two hours, $45/hr after that), but I'm a little nervous about hiring a DJ without any recommendations. I haven't asked him any questions or asked for references yet (both of which I can do). Has anyone heard of this DJ or used him?Are there other DJs in the area you'd recommend with similar prices? Thanks!!

I haven't heard of them.  See if maybe you can get a video of their work or go to a gig they are DJ'ing at.  I can't recommend mine, sorry.  He's not in that price range....I think he's out of everyone's price range (overpriced IMO but he's my BIL so we got hooked up).

Welcome to the board and congrats on your engagement! Ive never been to an event with that dj but I have been to an event with the Taco Man and the food was really yummy and his prices are really good too. The only thing I would be aware of with the Taco Man is that clean up is not included in their price. So you would just need to have some friends or family members that would be willing to clean up everything. He might now offer a clean up package too so thats something to ask about before signing any contracts.

Hi and welcome to the board! I would definitely interview him with any questions you have and ask for references before moving forward. It also wouldn't hurt to look around and do a comparison of other local Djs. Our dj was Cheryl of Moonlight Dj. Not sure about her pricing, as she was contracted through our venue, but she did an awesome job and all of our guests loved her! If you're interested I can give you her contact info. HTH!
