Etiwanda Gardens

Has anyone gotten married or gone to a wedding at Etiwanda Gardens?  I'm getting married there in January and I'm curious to know what people thought of it.  Thanks!

A friend of mine was married there.  She loved it.  I haven't attended a wedding there but there were some ladies on here that had their wedding there.  They don't log on anymore but I'll see if I can hunt them down on Facebook or something and ask them to post.

Hi KJ! Kasi just asked me to post that she got ahold of her friend that was married there and she will be on later to post a review for you. So hopefully that helps!

Hi! I didn't get married at EG, but I had my reception there. Overall, nice, fairly accommodating, but we did run in to problems. Issue 1: We were originally told that we could use the Rose Pavilion, if it wasn't being used by a wedding. I checked in regularly, and it was never an issue. We made all our plans revolving around using that area for the cocktail hour. 2 or 3 weeks prior, we were told that another wedding got booked, and they would be using that for their cocktail hour. We were only told after I asked, not due to any effort on their part. That bothered me significantly, given that they knew what we were planning. How difficult is a phone call?! Issue 2: Multiple receptions going on at the same time. You know this can happen going into it, but the issues can go beyond expectation. They say they keep things separated, but hallways and other areas are shared, and can be vulnerable. I did bathroom baskets, knowing the bathrooms would be shared. What I didn't expect was for the other party to completely cannabilize them and take EVERYTHING in the first hour. Seriously. Destroyed. I got over it. The worst part was that someone from the other reception took it upon themselves to write some crass and rude comments on my signature frame that was outside our cocktail hour. They obviously knew it wasn't the wedding they were there for, and wrote things, and drew pictures that can't be removed, on something that can never be replaced. Nobody can figure out what to do. Not our photographer, not our wedding planner, not EG. It's ruined. Issue 3: Billing. You're given the option to extend your reception for 1 hour, but a credit card has to be on record. Make SURE you know the quote for what it costs up front, including the bar, if you're doing a hosted bar. We were told one number by our planner, and were billed for a number nearly twice that. Miscommunication? Maybe. They're still working out the best way to resolve that situation, and the wedding was in May. This may or may not be their fault, but it's something to be aware of. The food is ok, nothing spectacular. Go to the open house they do to taste the food. It's important. Some items are significantly better then others. If you need more info, or have questions, email me at techfan99@gmail.com, and put something in it that lets me know it's not spam :) Hope this helps!

    Hello everyone,

We recently went to the Etiwanda Gardens and needless to say was very disappointed. We thought it was a complete joke. The staff was not very welcoming of us, even after we were there on an appointment. The person who helped us just didn't seem to care that we were there and wasn't very helpful. The outline of the property is very misleading from the pictures on their website. Hope anyone else has better luck.
