Wives

Have you decided on/thought about what you're doing for hubby for Christmas? If this is your first married Christmas are you planning on doing something different from last year?

DH and I have decided to spend Christmas in Ca, and have already purchased our airfares! Last year we spent Christmas in Finland for the first time and, quite oddly, didn't seem to enjoy it as much. I think it may have to do with us being so into tradition; besides last year, we have spent every Christmas together in Ca. So rather than doing something "different" this year we are aiming for it to be the same as the years before :)

This will be our first married Christmas together and Im not really sure what we are going to do. I am thinking about suggesting taking a trip together somewhere and that will be the gift. I do like getting sparkly things though so that might be a hard trade off hahaha. If we didnt do a trip I have no clue like usual what I would get him. He is always the hardest person for me to buy for. His mom always get him such nice gifts that it makes me feel like mine are nothing... so we shall see!

We are planning to go to Mammoth.  Suraya will be with my dad in Florida.  If we don't go to Mammoth I may buy Andrew a PS3.

Wow Amber you're a cool wife! He would totally love that gift. FI says he wants to learn to fly but I'm just terrified of that since I'm terrified of planes and flying!!!

Wow! You guys all have such great ideas.  We just go to Disneyland during Christmas time every year and we'll probably just do the same this year.   Flying lessons sound like so much fun!!

He has a friend with a plane and really wants to fly it. So his friend said if he takes lessons he would let him fly it. I dont know if I could do something like that but he would love it :)

How long does it take before you can fly?  I mean before the instructor lets him take charge.

Amber- AWESOME gift!!! San- I know exactly how you feel!! Mark is the hardest person to buy for....but I do like the trip idea. My Aunt one time rented my uncle is 100,000 dream car for a week for christmas, maybe you could do something like that? CM- I love love love Christmastime at Dland! We're going for sure this year because we have passes! We should go on the same day and meet up for lunch or something!I've already started saving cash (so mark doesnt see it on the bank account lol) I'm getting him a PS3 this year. I wish I could get him a motorcycle but I just can't make that work atm, maybe for our anniversary....I kinda want to go somewhere also....we'll see :)
