Our property taxes went down $3000 for this year.  WOOHOO!!!!  Of course that's between the two homes, but still $1500 less I need to pay in December and April.

Syl, that's $700 extra you didn't have before.  Stop complaining.  I agree with MC on this...you have a house.

But, you have to remember that I probably paid a LOT more for my house then you did.  Which means that the value of my home decreased more than yours. So, eventhough mine may have had a signficant drop (remember that is on two homes) you may still be paying less in property taxes than I am.    I feel fortunate that I still have two homes in this economy and that I'm not in danger of losing either.  Remember what you said on FB?  Be grateful for what you have.

So in other words Syl, what Rebecca is saying is that she's rich!  Just kidding!!Syl, you have every right to be down at times.  Just as long as you're not depressed.  I think a lot of us get into our down moods sometimes and I really think it's normal.  Don't you wish you could be one of those forever happy people?  And Rebecca brought up a good point, in this economy you still own a house.  :P  I know sometimes I drive up to my house and although it's not everything I ever dreamed of having, I still am in awe that I own it.  It's a great feeling!

LOl just the other day I was wanting to move back home to my grama's I miss the free everything and the already prepared food! hehehehebut yes we are very blessed :0)

I definitely miss my only bill being for my pager service.  Oh those were the awesome days...oh and just paying insurance for my car.  Those were the good ol' days.  3 years ago I thought I would never own a house so I feel pretty darn lucky to have one.  The bad part of owning is the upkeep.  You should see my backyard.  I have weeds the size of trees.  I pulled some out and they all came back.  My front yard is green though.
